Puppy Xmas

By Ian Warren.

DING …

HURRY HURRY … Must tell them someone happy has arrived who wants to see me!

Open the door HURRY …  IT’S RAYMOND! I can smell him!

Quick let him in! Let him in!

I am sooooo happy that I chase my tail until I get dizzy and give me a treat please when I put my front paws on your legs. He always gives me a treat when I greet him … YUM!

‘Hey Puppy, Come here boy’.

I should have realised she’d put that silly fluffy jumper over my fur and it’s so hot today that I need to drink more water. It’s uncomfortable. She put on a silly new collar too that’s all shiny and glows and hurts my eyes. It’s annoying and I want to scratch it off and wriggle out of the jumper but I can’t reach.

So I lie next to the hot black food box. It’s soooo full and smells soooo good, because they’ve been working at it all morning. I want some meat or veggies or any people food so I will get as close as I can because when they put meat and gravy on the plates some always drops on the floor for me to clean up quickly.

‘Come on boy. Here’s a Xmas present for you.’

SQUEAKER BALL … GIMME GIMME GIMME. It squeaks with each chew so I have to stop it by chewing faster and I can hear the plates but need to fix the squeaking first … Done!

‘Ooooh! He’s broken it already!’

‘DINNER TIME EVERYONE!’

QUICKLY! I must sit next to Raymond and stare at him because he always notices and gives me some delicacies. I love waiting patiently near Raymond and my family for my special Xmas dinner treat that smells so good.
